The publishing platform for Guam News Network: a public news site and a full newsroom CMS on one shared backend, with a structured editor, a two-read review chain, embargoes on island time, and a media library. Built alongside Newsroom OS, which feeds stories straight into it. Pre-launch: the public site sits behind a placeholder until the newsroom flips the switch.
The problem
A working newsroom needs its assignment desk and its public site to be the same system, not a CMS bolted onto a workflow it has never met.

One shared backend, two apps: the newsroom manages stories where it already works, and publishing to the public site is a review step, not an export.
