A local-first macOS app that reads browser bookmark files and turns them into an analysis dashboard: duplicates, dead weight, empty folders, and where a collection really clusters. Its first milestone is deliberately read-only: it studies your bookmarks without ever writing to them.
The problem
Years of saving links leaves a bookmark bar nobody can navigate: thousands of entries, silent duplicates, and dead folders, with no way to see the shape of the mess before cleaning it.
The system
Nexus Index parses the raw bookmark files locally and produces a clear picture first: what's duplicated, what's empty, where the real clusters are. That analysis has to come before any safe reorganization.
